Lallemand SAS is a major supplier of yeast or bacteria and a primary producer of both. Core products are lyophilized bacteria for probiotics and silage inoculants, active dry yeast for probiotics and inactive yeast mineral supplements. The Animal Nutrition division is dedicated to the development, production, and marketing of a range of related animal health and nutrition products including yeast derivatives such as cell wall extracts used as prebiotics.
The company conducts its research and development through a combination of internal resources and external collaborations. The R&D department has the mission to generate scientific references on the product line efficacy, to develop new microbial solutions and collaborate tightly with the regulatory affairs team to build up registration dossiers.
To support the increasing regulatory and market needs, we are opening a new position for a:
R&D Manager Assistant
Your responsibilities:
Reinforcing the R&D team to set-up and follow-up research trials, present scientific and product information to sales staff:
prospect for experimental facilities
design protocols, negotiate budgets and follow the trials
analyse data, write report summaries
support the sales team for technical information
collaborate with the marketing development
The position will report to the Applied Research Manager.
Our requirements:
MSc in animal science/production with a minimum of 2 years experience in animal nutrition sector ; a background in experimentations management will be greatly appreciated
Fluent in English, very good skills in French ; another language will be a plus.
Used to statistical analyses
Autonomous and rigorous
Good skills at writing synthesis and oral communication
