Tilburg, The Netherlands, Lallemand Animal Nutrition and Trouw Nutrition International (TNI), a Nutreco company, announce today their intensified cooperation on the distribution of Fibosel^®, a unique source of activated α-glucans, which are widely recognized to stimulate animal immune response.
Fibosel^® is a feed ingredient produced in European certified Lallemand yeast plants. Lallemand offers upstream expertise with its unique yeast cell wall extraction process that guarantees high quality and optimal activity of the Fibosel α-glucans.

Over the years, Trouw Nutrition International, worldwide expert in animal nutrition, has accumulated evidence of the benefits of Fibosel^® through numerous zootechnical trials in swine, ruminants, poultry and aquaculture. Nutreco’s research centers have executed scientific programs studying the ability of activated α-glucans to boost the animal’s natural self defense and therefore support animal performance.

Today, both companies have announced to join their complementary expertise to offer Fibosel^® to the international market as a new solution to promote animal health via nutrition. TNI Feed Ingredients has been appointed as the exclusive Fibosel^® distributor in the European and North American markets and in the main part of Asian Pacific area.

About Fibosel^®
Fibosel^® contains activated α-1,3/1,6 glucans extracted from specific S. cerevisiae yeast cell walls.
These natural polysaccharides have long been recognized for their strong immunostimmulatory properties, due to their ability to activate the non-specific immune response in the gut (especially macrophage cells), which, in turn, can stimulate the entire immune response.
