The Lallemand Animal Nutrition team took part in the Expoaviga 2008 international exhibition that took place in Barcelona, April 15 –18, 2008, to present its latest news and developments: the European authorizations of Levucell^® SC (Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-1077) in dairy ewes and goats, and of Alkosel^{® R397}, the biodisponible source of organic selenium, in all animal species. The company also introduced the new communication of Levucell^® SB, the live yeast for sows and piglets (Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. boulardii CNCM I-1079).

The exhibition was visited by more than 25,000 professionals of the sector coming from all over Spain and countries such as Italy, Serbia, France, Mexico and Chile, among others. The exhibition was complemented by the BCN Expoaviga Congress.
