I have worked for Lallemand since 2018 and really enjoyed working with the team and my current role.
What is the best part of your role at Lallemand?
I take a lot of pride in making sure Lallemand customers are satisfied by selecting the products from our warehouse, gathering, labeling, and packaging the shipments for the logistics team to get it to their intended destination. While to some it would be routine, the role is interesting because there is a lot of variety to the work each day especially during the very busy silage season in North America.
What is the most important part of your role, in relation to providing a high-quality product?
My position contributes to the Lallemand customer experience and satisfaction, by helping fulfill and picking the orders accurately allows for the products to be shipped for prompt delivery.
What are your top 3 reasons to work at Lallemand?
1. I really enjoy the team of people; everyone is caring and is willing to help if someone needs additional support.
2. Good work environment, over the years I have worked in many warehouses and at Lallemand, the managers and owners really take pride in the building, equipment, and people.
3. Ownership and autonomy within my department. I have a sense of pride in ensuring that Lallemand nutritionists, farmers, and animal owners get their products accurately selected and efficiently shipped to their locations throughout the world.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I love to try different cuisines and restaurants. Many people might think that Milwaukee has only German food, but in reality, there is a very diverse (and delicious) food scene here!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
If you don’t work, you don’t eat.
Have you completed anything from your bucket list?
I have recently tried seafood, and more specifically crab legs, and did not realize I was missing such great food for so many years!
